Early mornings are sacred to me—a time of silence, still air, and black coffee to ground my day. I begin with my “Thank Yous”, anchoring myself in gratitude. Yesterday, after completing my morning workout, I stepped outside to see the Full Moon shining brightly, even with nine hours left until its peak at 14:26 PST. Its light illuminated the backyard, a quiet reminder of its power and presence.
As I worked out and spoke my affirmations, I felt deeply connected to my 2025 intentions. Alternating between saying them aloud and holding them silently in my mind, I was fully immersed in my belief. The Moon, ever maternal in its energy, felt like it was wrapping me in reassurance, reminding me that everything will be okay—so long as I love myself first.
This first week of January tested me. Challenges I didn’t expect left me feeling knocked down, yet here I stand—stronger, more determined, and committed to loving myself unapologetically. It’s time to unpack the baggage of the last 51 years: the pain, the self-doubt, and the love I gave away before giving it to myself.
Yesterday at 05:36 AM PST, I captured the Moon and Venus glowing together in the quiet of my backyard—a reminder of the beauty and strength found in stillness. This Full Moon marks my turning point. I’m choosing to be gentle yet firm with myself, embracing self-love as non-negotiable.
To anyone reading this: honor yourself. Speak your intentions out loud. Saturate in them. You are worthy of the love you give so freely to others—don’t forget to give it to yourself, too.
With love and determination,
