Kaytranada sliding into Elevator Music.Live to kick off 2026 feels like the universe understood the assignment. I hit play and immediately knew I had to write this up because this set is so. damn. sexy. It’s irresponsible. It’s seductive. Kaytranada is ALWAYS my vibe (yes, his entire discography, no skips), and watching him float through this elevated, minimalist setup is pure Dayclub SEAZN energy. It’s smooth, controlled, indulgent, and confident without trying too hard which is exactly how this music should feel when you’re standing in your power and your silk robe costs more than your problems.
Full disclosure: I just finished my third listen to this.
For FW26 January: Self-Indulgence, this set is the sonic blueprint. Kaytranada doesn’t rush, doesn’t overperform, doesn’t explain himself—he just exists in the groove. That’s self-indulgence at its finest: choosing pleasure, choosing rhythm, choosing your own damn tempo. This is music for late nights, slow mornings, mirror moments, and main-character solitude. Press play, pour something smooth, and let this set remind you that indulging in what moves you is not extra, it’s essential.
